General Requirements

  • Valid passport (at least 6 months validity)
  • Completed online application via MOM/ICA portal
  • Recent passport-size photograph (white background)
  • Educational certificates and testimonials
  • Employment offer letter / contract from Singapore employer
  • Medical examination report (for Work Permit holders)
  • Employer must apply on behalf of employee (EP/S Pass/WP)
  • For S Pass: salary must meet minimum SGD 3,150/month
  • For Employment Pass: salary must meet minimum SGD 5,000/month

ℹ️ Important Note

Singapore uses a tiered work pass system based on salary and qualifications. The Employment Pass (EP) is for professionals earning SGD 5,000+/month. The S Pass is for mid-skilled workers (SGD 3,150+). Work Permits are for semi-skilled workers in specific sectors. Employers are subject to Fair Consideration Framework (FCF) requirements.
